How you can help

Join Us

volunteerAre you a qualified teacher who has the desire to make a difference? We are looking for energetic teachers to join us on our projects. You must have a sense of adventure, be open minded, flexible and reliable, possess a sense of humour, show initiative, have a passion for teaching and be a team player, after all the world is not changed by one person! Great volunteers think less about what they can get from the experience and more about what they can contribute.

We envisage projects will last between 3-5 weeks.  You must be able to commit to the whole time in a school to ensure continuity for the program, the school and the children.

Sponsor a bag

Maybe you are a business, a school or an individual who would prefer your  donation to go towards a maths manipulatives kit in a school. Through this project we raise funds to purchase the kits and get them sent to each destination.  We want the maths project to have a long term  impact and  be sustainable, therefore the maths manipulative kits are left behind after our work in the community or school is complete.  When you sponsor a kit we will send a  photograph of your kit in the allocated school or community.

The cost of a kit is USD 299, AUD 385, Euro 245 or GBP 215

Also, donations can be made direct into our UK ‘Gecko on the Move’ account
